Pulley’s recommendation engine will sometimes give you a list of customers to retarget or “nudge” if the system believes they’re ready to make their next purchase. Here’s how to go about it on Google Ads and Facebook Ads.

Add A Custom Audience List To Google Ads

Step 1: Download the list from Pulley’s opportunity page.

  • Visit the “Opportunities” page.
  • Click on “Review Action”. 
  • Click on “Export Customer List” (as shown below).


Step 2: Create your custom list on Google Ads.

  • Log into your Google Ads Manager account.
  • Click the “tools” icon on the top right corner of your screen.
  • Click on “Audience Manager” (you can find this under the section “Shared Library”).
  • Select “Audience Lists” and click on the “+” icon.
  • Select “Customer List” and then “plain text data file”.
  • Upload the new file and your new list should be created. Note: Depending on the size of the audience you upload, it may take from a few minutes to several hours to complete the process.

Step 3: Target users in your custom list.

  • Visit the section called “ Audiences”. 
  • Use the search functionality to find your newly created audience.
  • Click “Save”. 


Add A Custom Audience To Facebook Ads

Step 1: Download the list from Pulley’s opportunity page.

  • Visit the “Opportunities” page.
  • Click on “Review Action”. 
  • Click on “Export Customer List”.

Step 2: Create your custom audience on Facebook Ads.

  • Log into your Facebook Ads Manager account.
  • Under the section “Audiences”, select “Create Audience”.
  • Choose “Custom Audience” and then “Customer List”.
  • Select the Pulley file to upload.
  • Enter a name for your new audience that will be easy for you to remember.
  • Click on “Upload” and then “Create”.

Step 3: Target users in your custom list.

  • Visit your specific ad set in the editor view.
  • Use the search functionality inside “Custom Audience” to find your newly created list.
  • Click “Save”.
